Possible isolated severe WX for NE Alberta today!
According to the NAM 0-3000m EHI is showing a 0.25 area extending down into the Lloydminister region. Shear values in excess of 50kt on the 700mb level indicate these storms may have spin to them. The potential for super-cells today is a real threat. Large hail and heavy downpours will be a major player today. There is a slight a very slight chance of funnel clouds and even weak tornados. these may follow the CAPE boundary and move NE from the slave lake region. Stay tuned to for updates!
