A full month after the season stopped abruptly the storms once again rolled off the foothills. Sept 15 failed to see the storms reach too far east though one cell south of Edson started to look like a full blown severe summer storm. Sept 16th saw the storms reach farther east hitting areas around and south of Wetaskiwin, I recorded several loud thunderclaps as well as some high winds. The storms than seemed to die out along highway #21, not bad for the middle of September.
Looking ahead it looks like another “heat wave” may be in store and may last into October though not as hot as the last burst of warmth. Should still see values as high as 27C
